Dutch for Medical Purposes B2+

Course Content
In this course, you will develop your Dutch language skills to B2+ level in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will build up a specialised vocabulary in the medical and dental fields. You will give short PowerPoint presentations on healthcare topics, learn how to conduct effective doctor-patient conversations through role-plays, and read articles related to medical and dental subjects. You will practise writing skills by composing summaries and short texts on healthcare themes. You will also listen to medical lectures and podcasts, engage in group discussions with your teacher and fellow participants, practise small talk within and outside the consulting room, and write medical handovers. Videos and podcasts will support your vocabulary development and enhance your listening and speaking skills.
